Eric Hibit has artwork on view in three shows during January-December including:
Serious Play is an exhibition of work by the directors of Ortega y Gasset Projects at AUTOMAT Collective in Philadelphia, on view until January 8, 2017.
Sister Outsider on view at Underdonk, is a show of protest and solidarity, featuring artists working in a range of media, who all belong to communities that have been directly threatened by President elect Donald Trump and his campaign rhetoric. The exhibition borrows its name from poet and activist Audre Lorde’s compilation of essays and speeches dating from 1976-1984, to raise awareness around issues of homophobia, racism, ageism, classism, sexism, and heterosexism.
TSA New York presents 33 artists chosen from the 2016 – 2017 Flat File program, in an exhibition titled Flat Files: Year Four representing a wide array of approaches towards flat media including drawing, collage, printmaking, and photography. The small-scale format becomes an elastic site for play and exploration on view through December 18th, 2016.
